Carolyn Jarrett Jones

Carolyn is a branding + marketing expert and published author with a 20+ year track record of successfully launching brands. 

Currently the co-founder of Oak St. Social, a Chicago-based social media agency, Carolyn founded liveNWI after moving from Chicago to Northwest Indiana in 2008. An established author and newspaper columnist, Carolyn has penned thousands of lifestyle columns in publications including Orlando Style Magazine, Seattle Times, Chicago Sun Times, The St. Petersburg Times, Well and Good, and more. 

Carolyn works + plays in Chicagoland and NWI with her husband, Brian, and their four sons, aged 10 to 24.

Brian Jones

Born and bred in Northwest Indiana, Brian Jones is a 25 year veteran of the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.

Brian has spent decades traveling NWI, working — and playing — in cities from Crown Point to Gary to Valparaiso. He’s familiar with not only popular, local favorite destinations but also little-known homegrown spots to eat, imbibe and enjoy all that NWI offers.

Brian is also a life-long body builder whose passion for fitness lead him to launch his own line of fitness apparel, Big Bee Gear.
